After a hectic month, Tafia finally celebrates the release of his anticipated project Street Clarity: Gangsta Grillz hosted by DJ Drama.
The Miami rapper, who was the first artist to sign to Meek Mill’s Dream Chasers imprint, walked into Cool & Dre’s studio in North Miami on Thursday night (April 29) for his pre-release listening party with his head held high. As DJ Juice of 99 JAMZ provided the vibes, Tafia mobbed his way through to the other side of the room to do a quick photo opp an hour or so before his project hit streaming services. After he posed with his Tafia dollars, he walked past a rack full of merch including tees plus exclusive socks courtesy of The Sock Gallery. He dapped up the two barbers from the mobile grooming app Scizzrs and grabbed some pizza boxes with the album cover on them before he hit the studio to play the project.

Presented by Dream Chasers, 99 JAMZ and The Neala Group, the exclusive listening session (which was sponsored by D’usse, the Scizzrs app, Organic Food Kings, Blended Bliss Smoothies, Simons Sportswear and The Sock Gallery) let Tafia play the project for his famous friends, media, and the fans for the first time. Zoey Dollaz, MMG’s DJ Sam Sneak, NMB rapper Flo Kid and others pulled up to celebrate the release with the Haitian-American MC.

Street Clarity: Gangsta Grillz contains 11 fresh tracks including the Rippa On The Beat-produced “Flood The Streets” featuring DJ Drama and “Break The Bank” featuring Meek Mill. Rick Ross, Bobby Fishscale and Jackboy. Tafia says the project allows him to shine while dealing with everything life throws at him.
“Street Clarity is like — I thought about a good quality diamond but still in the rough,” Tafia says. “I’m street but I’m going to give you the bright side to it. I’m gonna tell you about the street shit and I’m going to tell you about the good parts — the clarity. I’m gonna break it down for you if nobody else ain’t break it down for you.”
