It’s been a minute since we’ve had such an active #NewMusicFriday. After teasing fans for the past two weeks, J. Cole finally comes through with his new album The Off-Season with bangers like “9 5 . s o u t h” featuring Cam’ron and Lil Jon plus “m y . l i f e” featuring 21 Savage and Morray. Diddy, Bas and 6lack also throw down on the album.
While Cole makes his comeback, Nicki Minaj also returned with the re-release of her breakthrough mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty. Not only does she bring her classic freestyles to streaming services, but she also includes three new bangers: “Seeing Green” featuring Lil Wayne and Drake, “Crocodile Teeth” and “Fractions.” The updated tape is just the warm-up to her upcoming album and documentary coming soon.
