It’s been nearly two years since Rolling Loud brought out the best rappers in the game to its hometown of Miami. After the ongoing pandemic crippled the festival industry as whole this past year, fans recently received great news about Rolling Loud’s grand comeback to Dade County.
On Thursday (April 15), Rolling Loud took to Twitter to post their statement about the new dates for the festival, which were originally announced for May 7 – 9. Now the three-day celebration of hip-hop music is set to go down in July with “as much of the 2020 lineup intact as possible–including headliners Post Malone and ASAP Rocky,” accoring to a press release.
“Thank you all for your patience,” Rolling Loud said in their statement.” We kept the faith as long as we could for the May dates, but ultimately we still face challenges that prevent us from gathering together at Rolling Loud Miami in early May. With that being said, we are excited to announce that Rolling Loud will now take place on July 23-25, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens!”
“We want to extend a massive thank you to all of our ragers who have held onto their tickets. Those who can’t make the new dates will have the opportunity to obtain a refund. Information on how to obtain a refund will be sent out to ticket holders later this month. We can’t wait to reunite together in the pits we’ve all grown to love (and miss) so much. Lineup, show details, on-sale, and more information coming soon, so stay tuned!”
Rolling Loud also said that they’re working on a way to “sweeten the deal” for those who’s held on to their tickets for the past year. Much like Coachella and SXSW, Rolling Loud’s 2020 dates were postponed not only in Miami but around the world. You can stay updated on all the updates on the official line-up and more on the Rolling Loud app. For more information about the tickets, visit their website.
