Stream Rico Nasty’s New Album ‘Nasty’

Rico Nasty drops her highly anticipated project shortly after signing to Atlantic Records.

Rico Nasty is unlike any prominent woman in hip-hop right now, and her new project Nasty is the only receipt you need to see. After dropping six projects in the last four years, the DMV spitter finally landed herself a record deal with Atlantic and a cover story in The FADER. Now, she’s releasing her first project since the ink dried via her indie label Sugar Trap.

Rico Nasty serves up 14 raw tracks with features from BlocBoy JB and Lil Gnar. Although her collaboration with the “Shoot” rapper goes hard (AF), Rico kills it on solo joints like “Ice Cream” and “Countin’ Up” when she talks her shit over a bass-heavy sample of N.O.R.E and Pharrell’s “Superthug.” Her gritty flow and addiction to head-banging instrumentals is a clear indication that she’ll be here to shake things up for years to come.
