99 JAMZ’s own DJ Lucky C and the station’s sole music journalist (Yours truly) are everywhere from Miami’s most lit events in hip-hop to every major party and strip club in Dade County. To kick off WEDR’s first-ever in-house podcast, we rally up the OG #JAMZSquad team to talk about everything happening in the music industry and the real world along with a few special guests.
In our first episode, Lucky and I re-introduce ourselves and remind the city about our hustle in these streetz. Lucky speaks on his time coming up with MMG’s Sam Sneak and his Shoneville crew while I open up about the work I’ve done in the past. As a bonus, we also serve up episode 2 featuring the one and only DJ Nasty 305 aka Mr. OH! OH! OH! We got him to talk about how he got involved with 99 JAMZ, his major moment DJ-ing for the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards, and his new venture as an artist DJ.
