AR-AB also says it’s crazy that Drake’s diss record “Back 2 Back” got nominated for a Grammy.
Rapper AR-AB claims that he has no beef with Meek Mill and wants nothing to do with the on-going beef with Drake. The Philly native sat down with Mikey T The Movie Star and Clark Martin of #ReportCardRadio to talk about the success of Grammy-nominated diss track “Back 2 Back” and the status of his beef with Meek Mill. During the interview, AB stated that he and the MMG emcee worked out their issues after he called out Meek on his own diss track last fall.
“It ain’t really nothing man,” AB said when asked about the status of their beef. “I’ve got real issues to worry about, you know what I’m saying? I actually talked to Meek Mill. I knew Meek before this rap shit. It ain’t like that.
AR-AB went on to say that he doesn’t plan on making diss tracks in the future. Last August, AB fired multiple shots in his own “Back 2 Back” freestyle after Meek mentioned him in a diss during the Pinkprint tour back in August. “I don’t understand what the hate be,” Ab spit in his freestyle. “Drake ate you, now you hate me? I just took my gun off safety. You better pay them niggas asked for safety.”
Both Philly rappers were bound to make amends in the new year. In a previous interview with Mikey T, AB claimed that Meek wasn’t “a gangster in court” and did nothing wrong in defending himself on the stand and speaking to the judge in a civil manner. Watch both interviews below.
