DJ Khaled’s new album is almost done.
In an Instagram post, uploaded Wednesday (April 7), the founder of We The Best can be seen outside on Holy Mountain in Jamaica. Khaled gave fans a status update on his new LP Khaled Khaled in the caption.
“Finishing my album #KHALEDKHALED,” Khaled wrote. “ALBUM 97.8% DONE! I’m on the Holy Mountain 🏔 🇯🇲 on the holy ground 🤲🏽getting it done! This is where I do my best work 🤲🏽.”
Later on Twitter, he posted a video of himself in the lab working on the album with another update.
While in Jamaica, Khaled hung out with his close friend Buju Banton, locked in the Capleton vocals for the album, and welcomed Grammy award-winning singer H.E.R. to the island. Khaled Khaled will be the super producer’s follow-up to his 2019 album Father of Asahd. So far, he’s been spotted out with plenty of major acts like Nas, Travis Scott, Lil Baby, Migos, Roddy Ricch, and of course Jay-Z. Now that the album is 97.9% done, Khaled will hopefully inform who else will be on it, and when we’ll get to hear it.
